Pat McManus founded Rock
In Prevention (RIP) with a Past President of the Variety Club,
Mr. Ray Johnson in September of 1990. Mr. McManus had counseled
severely addicted teenagers in an inpatient hospital treatment
center setting for seven years. Pat McManus witnessed the devastating
effects of alcohol and drug use and worked passionately to help
them get clean and sober and rebuild their lives.
Today, RIP workshops are research supported, fast paced, and
fun! The program has remarkably helped 800,000 Iowans since 1990
and is nationally recognized for effectiveness! RIP is one of
the most effective, efficient and fastest growing innovative prevention
programs in the Midwest.
Challenges
Rock in Prevention's previous web site did not adequately reflect
the programs and personality of the organization. They desired
a more up-beat look, along with expanded information about their
services.
Solution
E-Dentity developed a completely new look, which is geared towards
their younger audience. With new drop-down menus, they now have
doubled their site in content, with extensive information about
their programs and events.
Result
The new Rock in Prevention web site provides a fun, upbeat look
while offering its various audiences the information they seek.
